Natural - Mini Kit

Well, I did NOT make it to the next round of the designers contest. I'm anxiously awaiting the critique of the judges because I'm pretty confused about what they didn't like about my kit. I was pretty darn proud of the frame I made.

Back and revamping

Well I'm updating the blog, so it looks a little wonky now. I also have a domain name!

www.IrishEyesDesigns.com.

For some reason, it's not working unless you put the "www" in front of it so I've gotta rattle GoDaddy about that. I've got it all configured correctly...

I've been pretty MIA for a few months. There's been a lot going on in my "real life" and unfortunately designing took a back burner. The economy is hitting us hard at home, and the daily stress of job security has me working extra long hours at the office. And that is just one piece of the larger "Pie of Things to Stress Lisa Out".

But everyone is healthy, we're doing well and we really have no room to complain about anything. God continues to bless my family and I daily and I am incredibly thankful for that!

Anyway. Plenty of changes gearing up though!! I've designed some more freebies but they are in a contest right now so I can't post them here. I will soon though!

I'm going to work on giving the blog here a face lift, as well as just generally getting back "into" blogging. I probably wont have much to post in the way of freebies for a couple days, but hopefully there will be some good stuff coming your way soon!

A quick note

Hello all!

Due to situations beyond my control (aka - my IRL work load exploding into insane 60+ hour work weeks), this blog fell by the wayside.

Potty language...

Whew. Okay so the past two weeks have been mega busy. As you can see, I've been creating freebies like a mad woman, but I haven't update you all on what is going on in my life. And I KNOW you are probably just sitting on the edge of your seats.

So my darling little angel, the diaper Houdini herself, pee'd on her potty. The potty in question is pink (of course) and plays "1 of 4 royal tunes" when your little one takes a tinkle. It looks like a throne. It's pretty amazing.

She has only done this once, about a week ago, and has not repeated the effort. However, I was just so darn proud of her! I don't want to push her into training before she is ready, so I'm not sure when it will happen again, but even so. Twenty months old and already such a big girl!!

In other news, my wedding anniversary is steadily approaching. Just a little over three weeks away. I'll have been married a year. I guess it's time to start thinking about srapping those wedding photos!
